The Buck Hunters, a mixed netball team playing in the Sydney Region, wanted a quick and easy fundraiser so they could all attend the end-of-season awards night. Naturally, they turned to SmudgeBalm, as Anna explains.

“Well, our guys are used to having their mates rib them about playing netball, so we thought it wouldn’t make much difference if we had them selling lipbalms as well. Most of us do office work, so we all grabbed a box and left them in our kitchens, and collected the money each afternoon”.

And how successful was the fundraising?

“All of our balms were sold within two weeks, so it was a very quick turnaround - after that, we banked the money and we were on our way!”

So was the fundraising worth it?

“Absolutely - we even managed to get our guys into netball skirts for a team picture!”
